Amo a mi DK162

Desde hace medio año, ya traía entre mente comprarme un dvd que reprodujera divx. O si, divx es como el mp3 de los vídeos. Un buen ripeo puede llegar a la calidad de dvd y en un espacio maomenos reducido.
Esto se lo había comentado a mi novia y pues luego que íbamos al wal-mart, checabamos en cuanto se movía el precio de los dvds. Se acerco mi cumpleaños y entre mis papas y ella, me comprarían el reproductor de LG dk162. Solo que hubo un problema… Mi novia no supo explicarles bien que modelo era el que quería(ella ya sabia que era divx, pero mis papas no. Ahora ya se lo saben 
) y cuando mis papas fueron por el dvd, pensaron que lo que yo quería era un dvd con karaoke (eso de que el DK sea de double karaoke confunde… creo) y pues agarraron uno Samsung y listo.
Lo malo, es que no reproducía divx. Ni siquiera leía mpg 
Se lo comente a mis papas y explicandoles que es divx, tomaron el Samsung y se lo quedaron. El samsung es por mucho mas bonito que el LG, pero nomas no sirve eso del divx y pues… no me sirve. Aclarado el asunto, quedaron en que si veían el dvd, lo comprarían.
Y pues la semana pasada, por fin llego el dichoso DK162!
Y esta muy bueno! No se bien las especificaciones divx, pero ah leído TODO. No le hace feo a los subtítulos y la calidad es MUY buena. Solo tengo una pequeña queja y supongo que después se arreglara cuando salga algún firmware nuevo. Algunos subtítulos con lineas largas son separadas al chilazo:

Quien sabe por que pasa eso, no es siempre. Es algo incomodo, pero no como para regresarlo a la tienda.
Fuera de ese pequeño detalle, lo demás funciona como debe…

Dentro del poco tiempo libre que me queda entre ir a la escuela, hacer tareas, leer feeds y dormir, termine de ver la quinta temporada de 24.
Y fue muy buena. Mucho mas que la cuarta. Y es que a diferencia de la cuarta, a los guionistas no se les perdio la inspiracion a medio dia jajajaja. Aunque mataron ya a casi todo el elenco de las primeras temporadas (y a uno de la cuarta que me caia bien ) y quiza me sea algo dificil acostumbrarme al nuevo elenco, jejeje.
Eso si, mientras no maten a Chole, no hay pedo.
Ahora si, ya voy parejo con 24

Durante esta reciente gira de Stream of Passion, desafortunadamente ya hubieron problemas…
UK shows CANCELLED!
Stream of Passion suffered a terrible blow on Friday afternoon when the band arrived at Calais, France to board the Ferry to England. The Mexican band members were instantly separated from the group, and each other, and were interrogated by British and French Police for four grueling hours. All because the British immigration service was convinced they were intending to take up illegal residence in England.
The immigration service asked Naomi, the band’s tour manager, to provide them with evidence to the contrary, and listed the types of documents required. And though Naomi jumped through every one of their newly found hoops, and repeatedly produced whatever documentation they demanded as proof, they could not be persuaded. Even with the help from the kind promotors of the concerts in England, various Embassy officials, and immigrant agents in Britain (who told the tour manager there shouldn’t have been any problem for them to enter the UK in the first place) there was no changing their minds. This eventually led to the ‘deportation’ of Marcela, Alejandro and Diana without any possibility for them to get to England to perform the shows.
It appears the Mexicans have fallen unfortunate victims of, as one British Immigration agent trying to help said: “the new British political flavor of the year: ‘we hate all immigrants’”.
Stream of Passion returned home that same day, extremely disappointed and disillusioned with the proceedings. They wish to apologize to all the British fans and to those fans who travelled from various countries all over the world, for being unable to make it to these last two shows. They deeply regret not being able to perform for you this last time, as they were also so much looking forward to meeting you all again.
